Welcome to my world... I teach the Alexander Technique at the University of Minnesota and also work out of my private teaching studio near campus.

The Alexander Technique is psycho-physical re-education. It solves a person’s faulty physical and mental approaches to any endeavor. Mis-use habits of the body/mind can be changed as the following phenomena are addressed: unreliable sensory awareness, end-gaining (vs. process oriented) thinking, mis-direction of muscle effort, and failure to inhibit over-reaction to a stimulus. Here’s the main benefit: as overall coordination improves, specific discomforts and underperformance will dissipate.

I show people ways to perform everyday and favorite activities with greater skill, poise, control, and ease. Activities like instrumental music, singing, running, golfing, knitting, or tennis and even the drudgery of sitting in front of a computer. You name it... I can help a person do anything better with unimaginable ease, sense of well-being, and productivity.
